Spin-polarized tunneling measurements using La@sub 2/3@Sr@sub 1/3@MnO@sub 3@/SrTiO@sub 3@/Al tunnel junctions are reported. The deposition technique and efforts to control the interface quality will be discussed. At sufficiently low temperatures the application of an applied magnetic field splits the peaks in the dI/dV curve, allowing a measurement of the spin polarization to be made.
