Ohio Chapter

The Ohio Chapter was founded in 1980 after the Board of Directors accepted a Petition at a meeting in Detroit.

The inaugural meeting was held on December 10, 1980 at 3pm at the Univ of Dayton; there were about 30 attendees,  including members from Battelle Columbus, Bell Telephone Labs in Columbus, and the ARMCO Research Center in Middleton. Most of the early activities were held in the Dayton area.

Current activities and the officers are listed on the Chapter web page, which is accessed through the AVS Web site.
