Soar into the new world of commercial aviation by exploring Boeing’s newest, high-tech facility, the Future of Flight Aviation Center. Then we’ll stroll through the famous Pike Place Market, America's premier farmers' market, in its centennial year. Known as “The Soul of Seattle,” the market extends over nine acres and is home to hundreds of year-round commercial businesses, craftspeople, and farmers who rent table space by the day, not to mention the colorful street performers and musicians. We’ll have time for lunch at one of the many restaurants around the market. http://www.pikeplacemarket.org

In the afternoon, we will watch live glassblowing at the Seattle Glassblowing Studio. Monday is a particularly exciting day to visit the factory, with many craftsmen at work creating a wide range of objects from dramatic art to functional pieces.
