Keep in mind that reserving a room in this convention block helps AVS meet
its financial commitments* to the host city and retain lower registration fees
as well as a high quality conference with the features and services you are
accustomed too. To make these properties more attractive, AVS will be offering
the following incentives for you to book your stay:

Free wireless access in an AVS internet café
located within both hotels. Details will be provided at check in.
Drawings and Giveaways

All attendees who make a hotel reservation in the
AVS block will be entered in drawings (2) for a free full week (6
nights) stay (1,500 value; one winner at each hotel)**.

All attendees who make a hotel reservation in the
AVS block will be entered in drawings (2) for a free full week symposium
registration ($550 value)**.

All attendees who make a hotel reservation in the
AVS block will be entered in drawings (8) for a gift $25 certificate
good for room service or restaurants/lounges within the hotel (four
winners at each hotel)

The first 25 attendees to make hotel reservations
in the AVS block will receive free AVS membership dues for 2007 ($95
value).
Notes
* Most cities (like San Francisco) require a minimum number of sleeping room
nights to be booked in order to gain access to use both the hotel and
convention center meeting facilities—when AVS does not fulfill these room
nights (none as attrition) the hotel assesses a per person, per night
penalty to fulfill what is missing from the block and/or charges increased
meeting space rental.
** Drawings will be held following the October 20,
2006, housing deadline.
Housing opens July 6, 2006, and closes October 20,
2006. Housing will be managed by Conferon using Passkey.
