Registration Deadline Policy
Space is limited in all courses to ensure optimum interaction among all
participants, and early registration is strongly advised. After Wednesday,
November 1, 2006 add a $50 per course surcharge to your registration
form (in the place provided).
If you choose to register on site, it is on a first-come first-served basis,
but please first call ahead to check class availability.
Complete and return the registration form to enroll. Upon receipt of your
registration form and payment, we will send you an e-mail confirmation.
Enrollment acceptance will be based upon receipt of the registration form
and course fee or a letter of commitment from the registrant’s sponsor. No
purchase orders will be accepted. If a letter of commitment is sent, fees
must be received by Wednesday,
November 1, 2006.
Early Registration Payment--Important! To ensure your place in
the course(s) of your choice, please be sure your registration form and
payment are received by the AVS office no later than Wednesday,
November 1,
2006.
Late Registration Payment--Following the Wednesday,
November 1, 2006
early registration deadline, course fees will be marked up $50 per course.
Cancellations-- If notice of cancellation is received on or before
Friday, November 3, 2006, fees will be fully refunded. After November
3, refunds or course credits may be given if there is good reason. No
refunds/course credits for individuals who do not show up for their course(s).

Registration Fee Discounts - (Apply only one discount per registrant)

Multi-Course Discount provides a $300 discount for every three courses
taken, by one person, at a specific short course program (i.e., the same
location and calendar week). This offer excludes student members.

Discount provides a $75 discount per location offering for current AVS
members.

Full-time
students may qualify for a reduced fee, please go to
www.avs.org or call the AVS,
800-888-1021 for details. The deadline for registering is Wednesday,

AVS is not
responsible for applying, or being aware that you may qualify for any of the
above discounts. You may only select one discount option when registering.
If you qualify for more than one discount please select the greater of the
two to be applied.

Schedule
& Class Materials
Courses will begin at 8:30 a.m., finish at 5:00 p.m., and have a one and
one-half hour lunch break. Students are encouraged to visit the exhibition
during the lunch break. Lunch is NOT included.
Attendees may obtain class materials at the registration desk, Moscone
West-Lobby, Level 1. See short course registration hours below. The short
course fee for some of the courses includes the cost of a published,
hardcover textbook. Plain notebooks are not included with the course
materials. Certificates of completion will be given to all students
attending the full course.

How to
Register
By Fax/Phone: Fax your completed registration form to AVS at
530-896-0487, or call 800-888-1021 for more information (if you prefer to
pay by check, you may first confirm your registration by fax). Fax
reservations (non-credit card payment) will be held for 10 days pending
receipt of the registration form and either the course fee or a letter of
commitment. If a letter of commitment is sent, fees must be received by
Wednesday,
November 1, 2006.
By Mail: Mail the completed registration form and payment or
letter of commitment to:

The AVS Technology and Equipment Exhibition will be located in the Exhibit
Hall on the 1st Floor of Moscone West Convention Center.
Also located in the Exhibition Hall will be the Exhibitor Workshops, Career
Center, Membership/Education Center, Exhibitor Lounge, Internet Cafes and
Email Pavilion - including hard-wired computers and free wireless
connections, Food Concessions, ample seating areas, and other special
events.

Code
Casual business attire. However, since room temperatures fluctuate, please
bring a light sweater or jacket so that you may be more comfortable.
