INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING POSTERS
 
Poster Sessions will be held in 3rd Floor Lobby of the Moscone Convention Center on Tuesday, November 14, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., and on Thursday, November 16, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Poster presenters are requested to be present at (or near) their poster during the times scheduled for poster viewing.
 
Boards will be available for presenters to mount their posters at 2:00 p.m. on both days. Posters must be removed immediately following your session. Please note that we cannot take responsibility for any posters left on the boards after the session.
 
The poster boards are 4 feet high and 8 feet long, and sit on a narrow table. The boards are made from cork, and tacks will be available for posting your work.
 
A sign with your program number and presenter will be placed at the location where you are to display your work. When preparing your poster presentation, please include the title of your presentation, the author listing, and program number.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARING JVST MANUSCRIPTS (Contributed papers)
 
The size and scope of the International Symposium necessitates that manuscripts considered for publication follow timing and length guidelines. All manuscripts are refereed to the same standards as regular JVST submissions.
 
It is IMPORTANT that the submitted manuscript has BOTH the Abstract Number and the Program Number entered in the top-right corner of the title page of all copies. Manuscripts without these numbers cannot be considered for the Conference Issue of JVST.
 
Length Constraints:  Contributed papers can contain up to 5000 words (5 journal pages) which corresponds to a total of 20 pages of double-spaced text, tables, figures, references, abstract, etc.  Each figure and table should be on a separate page.  Multi-component figures may take up more than one page (of the 20 pages allowed) if each component cannot be reduced to 1/6 of a JVST page.  The text should be DOUBLE-SPACED using a 12-pitch type, and pages should have one inch margins on all sides.
 
Manuscripts exceeding these length requirements will be forwarded to reviewers with a notation that the manuscript must be shortened.
 
Authors may include their internet e-mail addresses along with all other footnotes in the following format:

E-mail submission cannot be considered. However authors may make any inquiries via e-mail at the address listed below.
