Keep in mind that reserving a room in this convention block helps AVS meet its financial commitments to the host city and retain lower registration fees as well as a high quality conference with the features and services you are accustomed too.

To make these properties more attractive, AVS will be offering several incentives for you to book your stay—watch for these specials from July-September. In fact, if you stay at either hotel you will receive two vouchers (limit one person per room) redeemable on Tuesday and Wednesday for one lunch each day in the Exhibit Hall. 

Airport
Logan International Airport, http://www.massport.com/logan/ is four (4) miles from the Sheraton Boston. Please note that during rush hour driving time can be up to 20-30 minutes.  

From the airport take the Sumner Tunnel in the right lane to Storrow Drive (Exit 26). Follow for two (2) miles and then take the Fenway Exit (left exit). Bear left following "Boylston Street Inbound" and at the fifth light make a right onto Dalton Street.

Ground Transportation from Logan International Airport

Airport Shuttle:
Star Shuttle Inc., http://www.starshuttleboston.com/, 617-230-6005, provides transportation service from Logan International Airport to/from Sheraton Hotel every hour on the half hour, seven days a week, from 5:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. The cost is approximately $14 per person each direction.

Rental Car:
Currently, eight rental car companies operate from Logan International Airport. They include: Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National and Thrifty. Each rental car company has complimentary shuttle buses that transport passengers to/from the terminal and the rental car facility. Shuttles run frequently and stop curbside on the arrival level for passengers to board.

Taxi:
Taxis are available curbside at the arrival level from Logan International Airport. Service to/from the hotels is approximately $30 each direction.

Convention Center Parking
A special parking rate will be announced in July at a garage nearby the Convention Center garage. Please note you will need to get your parking pass validated at the AVS Registration Managers desk. Caution: this is for up to eight hours and there are no in and out privileges using the validated rate.
