Texas Chapter
The Texas Chapter was formed in 1981. When the new AVS organizational structure started in 1971, the New Mexico RAG covered Arizona and Texas as well as New Mexico. On August 15th, 1981 the New Mexico Chapter acceded to the petition of the representatives from the state of Texas to release their inclusion of the state as a portion of the New Mexico Chapter. The AVS Board approved the Texas Chapter in November, 1981.
