AVS Classic Series in Vacuum Science and Technology 

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the AVS, the American Institute of Physics in cooperation with the AVS, launched the AVS Classic Series in Vacuum Science and Technology. This is a series of reissues of out-of-print books that have a continuing impact on today  Series editor is H. Fred Dylla. Publication was taken over from AIP by Springer-Verlag. Copies can be purchased through the AVS web site.
