your oral presentation, you will be
allowed only three slides: (1) one
stating the issue or question
considered: what you did and why it is
important, (2) one with your main
results and central overview, and (3)
one stating your conclusions and what
the work means.
You
should conclude with what is not
understood or controversial to make
everyone want to come to your poster.
You are
also asked to display a poster of your
talk throughout the week. Approximate
poster dimensions are 48 inches tall x
44 inches wide.

Manuscript Deadline: February 15, 2012
We strongly encourage you to submit a
manuscript related to the topic of your
PCSI presentation, which, if accepted
under the same review
criteria as regular submissions, will be
published in printed form in the
July/August 2012 issue of the Journal of
Vacuum Science and Technology (JVST) B,
one of the premier journals in the
technical areas covered by the PCSI
conferences. The electronic version of
the paper will appear on-line in JVST
B upon acceptance of the reviewed
manuscript. The manuscript submission
deadline of February 15, 2012, gives
authors the opportunity to incorporate
feedback from the conference. Remember
that if you are an AVS member your JVST
page charges will be waived. You may
join AVS ($105 per year) when you
register for PCSI or go to
