Oral Presentation Guidelines

Plenary presentations are 40 minutes long, including 35 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions and discussion.

Invited presentations are 30 minutes long, including 25 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions and discussion.

Contributed presentations are 15 minutes long, including 12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions and discussion.

One central computer will be used for all presentations (no personal computers will be allowed). Please bring your presentation in either Powerpoint, Keynote or PDF format on a flash drive, SD card or CD. Presenters should meet with the Session Chair before the beginning of the session to load talks onto the computer. Please make sure your presentation displays properly and that you are familiar with the AV equipment before the session begins.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

Poster boards and pins are available for use by presenters. The useable area of the poster boards is 30” x 40 “ Posters need to be in place by 11 a.m. on the day of the poster session, and removed at the end of the session. The poster must be attended by an author throughout the session. Unattended posters may be removed. We recommend that you attach an envelope near the poster for business cards/reprint requests, etc.
