ICN+T 2008 Oral Presentation Guidelines Contributed Oral presentations are 20 minutes in length, with nominally 16 minutes for your presentation and 4 minutes for questions. Unvited Oral presentations are 40 minutes in length, with nominally 35 minutes for your presentation and 5 minutes for questions. Plenary Oral presentations are 50 minutes in length, with 45 minutes for your presentation, and 5 minutes for questions. There will be multiple parallel sessions, so Session Moderators will be instructed to strictly adhere to the schedule. All rooms will be equipped with standard PC's, screens, microphones, and LCD projectors. Please note that we are not providing overhead projectors in the session rooms. The conference will provide PC's in the session rooms and switchboxes will also be available for those who bring their own computers. We strongly encourage you to test your presentation in the Presenters Preview Room (Castles 1) prior to your talk if you plan to use the PC and LCDs which will be provided in the session rooms. Please allow ample time for this preparation; preferably the day before you are scheduled to present (not immediately before your talk!). The Preview Room will be open on Sunday for those of you with Monday presentations. In deference to all our presenters, it is important that personal computer/LCD projector compatibility issues be worked out well in advance of your presentation. Please note that PowerPoint is the recommended presentation software. The projector is expected to be compatible with both PC's and MAC's; however, we ask that you bring a copy of your presentation on a memory stick as a back-up. We thank you for your cooperation in this regard. Any other audio or visual needs such an overhead projector must be requested in advance of the meeting. Please send your request to Della Miller (della@avs.org) and include reference to your Program Number no later than June 1, 2008.
