Oral Presenter Instructions
Dear ALD 2005 Oral Presenter,
Each session will be presented electronically using a computer projection display rather than overheads. In addition, an audio record will be made of each presentation, including questions, answers and discussion. Following the conference, DVDs will be distributed to all participants including the graphics and audio. This DVD will be the entire record of ALD 2005.
Therefore, each oral presenter is asked to prepare their presentation as follows:

Prepare your presentation in Microsoft PowerPoint.

Send your PowerPoint presentation by e-mail attachment to Della Miller, della@avs.org, no later than August 5, 2005, and earlier, if possible, so that we may check for its safe arrival.

Bring a backup copy of your presentation to the conference on a CD-ROM.
***** Do not plan to present using your own laptop, because one will be provided with your presentation preloaded; this arrangement will help us to keep the graphics and audio properly organized.*****
Please note that as the author, you are the sole owner of your presentation.
The distributed presentations will be converted to .pdf files to prevent tampering or unauthorized use of the presentation graphics or data by others.
