IIT 2014 will be located at the Portland Hilton situated in the heart of downtown, surrounded by restaurants, tax-free shopping and entertainment venues. The Portland Hilton is a block away from the MAX Light Rail system for quick and easy access to popular Portland attractions, nearby cities, and Portland International Airport.

This Conference Series is the premier world meeting for the presentation of the latest advances in all aspects of ion implantation, from the fundamentals of ion-solid interactions to manufacturing applications of the latest machines and systems. IIT is held every two years, rotating between sites in the United States, Europe, and Asia. IIT 2014 will be the 20th conference in this series.

There will be a strong Social Program to enable participants to sample the history and culture of the Portland Area. Partners of conference attendees will enjoy a memorable program, including an opportunity to explore Portland and the surrounding regions.

The end of the IIT meeting will take place over America's Fourth of July holiday. To celebrate Independence Day the city of Portland will host several fireworks displays throughout the city as well as music festivals, etc. This will be a fun and festive weekend for attendees who can stay and extra few days.

The conference will cover a wide range of topics on ion implantation technology and thermal processing for Semiconductor Devices and Materials including Junction, Contact, Material Modification, Process Modeling and Novel Metrology Methods. The technical program will consist of invited and oral presentations and poster sessions. For late news submission details Click Here

The Conference will be preceded by a School featuring Ion Implantation Science and Technology. The IIT School will take place preceding the conference on June 26-28, 2014--registration will open in March 2014. For IIT School details Click Here

Apply for Student Travel Assistance/Conference Registration Waiver

To encourage student participation at the conference, the IIT2014 will be receiving a grant to provide student travel and conference registration fee assistance (including the registration fee for the School run by IIT2014 prior to the conference). This assistance is limited to students enrolled in any university in U.S. Graduate students and senior undergraduate students can apply for this assistance. Though IIT2014 strongly encourages abstract submission by the students, students who do not submit an abstract can also apply for the travel assistance.
