The AVS Rocky Mountain Chapter is holding its annual
symposium and equipment exhibit September 16, 2010 in Westminster (Denver),
Colorado. This year the Symposium will be FREE to all and features a session
entitled:
Advances in Instrumentation and Measurements
The talks will be of interest to the general public as
well as scientists, engineers, technicians and managers.

Exhibit Information
Leading manufacturers of vacuum, deposition, and analytical equipment will
be represented. Anyone interested in keeping abreast of current innovations
in the vacuum related industry is encouraged to attend the free exhibit.
Symposium and exhibit registrants will receive complimentary tickets for the
wine and cheese social that begins at 3:30 PM. Door Prizes will be given
away during the Social Time (3:30 PM to 6:00 PM); you must be present to
win.

Student Poster Session and Awards
(click for announcement)
The poster session is open to any student with
appropriate material that they wish to present. To encourage participation,
we award cash prizes to the top three student posters. The posters will be
judged on their technical merit and the presentation of results. The prizes
are $500, $300, and $200 for the first, second, and third place student
posters, respectively.
FREE AVS one-year Student Memberships awarded to all student poster
presenters!
