The Rocky Mountain Chapter, as the name indicates, is the local American Vacuum Society (AVS) chapter for the States that encompass the Rocky Mountain Region. The Rocky Mountain AVS is a non-profit organization designed to promote science and vacuum-related science education. Members of the AVS Rocky Mountain Chapter are from academic, government, and commercial institutions and are engaged in research, applied vacuum technology, and vacuum equipment sales.
