Dr. Bruce Gnade, Dr. Chadwin Young, and Dr. Julia Hsu have all worked in either industry or at a national lab (or both!) prior to becoming professors at The University of Texas at Dallas. They will each give a brief introduction over their backgrounds and their careers before entering into the academic world. This will be followed by a question answer session with the audience, providing an excellent opportunity for graduate students to receive candid input about the similarities and differences between industry and academia.
