ABSTRACT:
Physical Electronics offers a suite of surface analytical equipment
focusing on AES, XPS, TOF-SIMS, and D-SIMS. Each of the instruments
is unique and has a diverse range of applications. Never hearing of
surface analysis prior to joining the company, my 14 year journey,
in different capacities, has presented unique opportunities, and
I would like to share some of my experiences in the hopes of shedding
some light on this intriguing analytical world.
BIO:
Since the year 2000, I have been working at Physical Electronics on
Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES) and X-ray Photoelectron
Spectroscopy (XPS) instrument support and applications after earning an MS
in electrical engineering.
