Welcome
We are the AVS student chapter for the Dallas Fort Worth area. Our members are students at the University of Texas at Dallas, but we hope to grow to include students from all of the universities in the surrounding region.
The purpose of the chapter is to foster an environment of professional development and interaction for our members by hosting speakers from both industry and academia to speak about their areas of expertise. We seek to form a network and long lasting relationships with the neighboring universities as well as nearby companies in order to enrich the chapter's experience. Although the chapter's focus is professional, we also host social events for members to interact and get better acquainted in a less formal setting.
